During their latest European journey SYMPHONITY’s Epic Melodic Power Metal passed the test in the epicentre of Power Metal craziness: Athens‘ venue Gagarin 205. The show in April 2025 has been cut authentically in one piece for the 6-Track-EP „Beyond Olympus“. The band delighted the fans by entering the stage together with former drummer Martin „Marthus“ Škaroupka. To seal their regained unity, the band recorded a new studio track, serving as opening bonus to „Beyond Olympus“. „Out and About“ helps bridging time and space with neoclassical guitars and progressive elements until the release of Symphonity’s next studio album.

 

Apart from digital download options the six-track EP „Beyond Olympus“ is exclusively available as cardboard-sleeve edition via mailorder or at live performances of the band.

Memories of Old – Never Stop Believing

After a five-year hiatus, Memories Of Old return to deliver a first class follow-up to their acclaimed debut ‘The Zeramin Game’. Despite some line-up changes, the British Epic Symphonic Power Metal band return to full form without any loss in quality and every bit as powerful as before.

 

In 2024, the band welcomed American power metal vocalist Noah Simmons, whose soaring voice perfectly leads the band into their second album. The following year in 2025 they were joined by Wayne Dorman, former lead guitarist of thrash pioneers Onslaught, adding his masterful skills to the bands already solid sound. Band mastermind Billy Jeffs hammered away all the drums for the album, and contributed vast parts of the neoclassical guitar work himself as well.

 

‘Never Stop Believing’ is literally packed with anthems and emotions. ‘Guardians of the Kingdom’, ‘Fly Away Together’ or ‘Life Begins Again’ are perfect completions to the band’s repertoire. The Production and final mix were mastered impeccably by Billy and former Power Quest vocalist Allesio Garavello. Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and orchestrator Billy Jeffs, who names icons Yngwie Malmsteen and Freddie Mercury as some of his prime musical influences, laid monumental foundations to ‘Never Stop Believing’, collaborating with his partner-in-crime, keyboardist Anthony Thompson, to deliver an epic new unforgettable era for the band.
