SYMPHONITY – new album annoucement

We are proud to announce the third studio album by Symphonic Power Metallics SYMPHONITY called “Marco Polo: The Metal Soundtrack” which will be released on May 20th. The album will be released also in Japan (May 18th) and USA (June 24th).

The new release is a conceptual album which tells the life story of Venetian merchant Marco Polo whose travels to the Far East became legendary. From the musical side, it’s SYMPHONITY’s hardest, fastest and the most symphonic album so far. Moreover, it is spiced with many ethnic instruments from the Middle and Far East which gives a specific sound to each of the songs. On the other hand there are also some ballads on the album. So as a whole, it sounds balanced and colorful.

DRAGONY release “Defenders” single & video

As the release date of the new album MASTERS OF THE MULTIVERSE approaches, the band states: „We are happy to publish one last single before the album finally hits the stores! This track, titled “Defenders”, was written by DRAGONYs guitarist Andreas and is a tribute to all the true Heavy Metal warriors out there, who have kept our genre alive over the years – you are all the true Defenders of the Faith!“

DRAGONY “Defenders” videoclip premiere at ROCK HARD

DRAGONY – Masters Of The Multiverse

Vienna 2007. The Dragonslayer Project caused an uproar on the Austrian scene. What began simply as a project, quickly became an established band, playing numerous successful shows. Even established bands such as Axxis, Sonata Arctica, Serenity, Powerwolf and Paul Di’Anno relied on the band as an excellent support act. After changing the band name to DRAGONY in 2011, the band signed with Limb Music, and released the debut album „Legends“ in 2012.

Six years later DRAGONY is now presenting their third studion album entitled „Masters Of The Multiverse“. Ten symphonic metal hammers, which cover the entire breadth of the genre from stamping riff monsters to high speed bombers to epic ballads. Not only is Sabaton guitarist Tommy Johansson featured on the album, but one is also treated to the vocals of Van Canto singer Ross Thompson and the German vocalist Nora Bendzko.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are happy to present the first single from the upcoming new album MASTERS OF THE MULTIVERSE! The song “Flame Of Tar Valon” is inspired by the “Wheel Of Time” novels written by Robert Jordan, and prominently features the bombastic orchestrations by Lukas Knoebl (AEONATA, ILLUMINATA, SERENITY a.o.), who has once again raised the songs to a new level thanks to his intricate contributions.
